Chandrashekar More, whom the Malawi government deported in 2017 for tax evasion, is using a Lilongwe based bogus Journalist called Tony Adams, to send threatening messages to some Indians and Immigration Officers.
Adams said More promised to give him MK1 million but failed to honour his promise.
“He has asked me to send messages to aamwenye promising me kuti he will pay me but nothing mpaka pano. This Asian has asked me so send messages to anthu and now turning back on me. Ndazisiya but he is a crook,” said Adams in a whats app conservation.
More’s whats app number is +919850868595 while Adams is using 0998313036.
In one of the whats app messages, More specifically asks Adams to send threatening messages to Zuneth and Ahmed Sattar and one Immigration Officer called Medi.
“I will make sure my boys deposit MK1 million for you. When sending these messages use the name Collins Mtika.
“Once all the messages are send you will send me your account details. One million will be deposited may be your boy can collect from my partner Patrick Bandawe in Lilongwe,” More said.
When confronted More claimed his account has been hacked.
“I spoke with some cyber experts in Indian, they said its cyber crime. All involved in this scandal will be prosecuted,” he claimed.
The department of Immigration and Citizenship services deported More in May 2017 for tax evasion amounting to MK20 million.
The Malawi government said the dubious Indian Investor will remain a prohibited immigrant to Malawi.
